La Ceropegia simonae è una pianta originaria del Madagascar. Il nome Ceropegia ricorda il greco antico ‘fontana di cera’ ed è dovuto alla forma dei suoi fiori carnosi e cerosi dalla particolarissima forma di ombrello.
Forma fusti serpeggianti, carnosi da cui si dipartono le foglie verdi carnose e produce fiori tipici molto attraenti.
Ama luce intensa e temperature medie intorno ai 25 gradi, mai inferiori a 10°C.
Usare terriccio leggero e ben drenante arricchito di perlite.
