Rara Begonia rizomatosa scoperta in Messico nel 1860.
Ha un magnifico fogliame vellutato verde scuro, con venature argentee. I fiori sono bianchi. Il portamento è leggermente ricadente e crescendo forma un cespuglio arrotondato e folto.
Richiede una certa umidità ambientale per cui possiamo aiutarla aggiungendo dell’argilla espansa nel sottopiatto e mantenendola umida.
Usare comunque terricci leggeri addizionati di perlite o sabbia.
