Conosciuto come ‘Curly Spider Plant’, ha foglie variegate al centro di bianco che crescendo si arricciano ricordando i boccoli di Shirley Temple. Anche le piantine che si formano dal centro e rimangono sospese nell’aria, sono formate da foglie corte ed arricciate a mo’ di cavatappi. E’ una selezione ottenuta da Oglesby.
Pianta di facile coltivazione come ogni falangio. Richiede annaffiature moderate e terricci ben drenanti. Nel periodo estivo o in posizioni riparate cresce bene anche all’esterno, in ombra o mezz’ombra. Resiste fino ad una temperatura di 5°C.
Utile in casa, dove cresce in posizioni luminose, poiché è tra le più efficienti piante per purificare l’aria dagli inquinanti.
